Larry Sinclair’s elongated fifteen minutes of fame has ended on a much anticipated note…President Obama has won a second term.

The lies and deception that catapulted Larry Sinclair into an underground internet hero have not served him well, especially not with the much coveted main-stream media. That seemed to be his ultimate goal but it never happened.  They saw him as a “kook” and a con-man and that assessment was held by all major news outlets including Fox News.

Larry’s “star” never shown as brightly as he had hoped.  Instead he was relegated to the dark confines of the internet and internet radio.

This blog will remain online so that those who are interested in the historical (or not so historical) impact and/or fiasco of the Larry Sinclair saga and campaign to prevent Barack Obama’s first electoral win by writing a book filled with lies about the President and his supporters.

A second book that was due out over a month ago (he promised to release it BEFORE the election…) didn’t happen.

There will be no further blog posts from me as my job is done.  Truth matters.  The research compiled by Jay and others will speak for itself from here on out.

President Barack Obama has won a well-deserved, well fought second term and Larry Sinclair is obsolete.

It seems Larry Sinclair is up to his old “ways” again, regarding his upcoming new book entitled When One Man Stands.   We’ve seen the delays play out before when Sinclair finally finished his first book Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder?

This latest book was promised advanced copy early delivery some time in June.  Sinclair also promised that the new book would be on the stands in Mid-September.  Now he claims it will be on the stands in October.

This scene played out before and all we can say is “oh no, here we go again!!”

Jerome Corsi, World Net Daily, And “Gay” Barack Obama! How Low Can Conspiracy Theories Go?

Jerome Corsi, a well known and notorious conspiracy theorist, who collaborates with the right wing World Net Daily website, called “World Nut Daily” by MSNBC ‘s Rachel Maddow last night, has come up with a new theory involving President Barack Obama.

One of the leading advocates of the “birther” conspiracy theory, that Obama is a secret Muslim born in Kenya, now Corsi is promoting what anyone who has followed the attacks on Obama could have predicted would eventually emerge in this Presidential campaign as a last resort to stop the Obama march to victory—the accusation that Obama is secretly gay, that he had a gay lover killed, and another one paid off to remain silent, and that Obama is well known in gay circles and bathhouses in Chicago!

Corsi is the same man who not only has promoted the “birther” myth, but also was involved in the “Swift Boat Veterans” attack on Senator John Kerry, the Democratic Presidential nominee in 2004, which helped to undermine Kerry’s candidacy against President George W. Bush!

Corsi is also a believer in other conspiracy theories, and is obviously frustrated that his recent book on Obama and “birtherism” has failed to have an impact, so he and the World Net Daily website now have reached a new low, but that any intelligent person could have figured would eventually come to light.

The thought in this man’s mind and that of the website supporters is that Obama being called gay is going to defeat him, but it will not, and with the country warming up to the concept that being gay is a private matter, and that being gay is not a crime, and more people being accepting of someone being gay, it will only insure that Obama will not be hurt by scurrilous charges that most certainly would have been revealed years ago, had they been true!

The idea that Barack Obama has such connections and influence that he can “hide” his Kenyan “birth”, his “Muslim” faith, and his “gay” sexual orientation from the American people and actually become President, and be on the verge of a second term, is so ridiculous, that one must wonder about the mental stability of those who believe it, and totally destroys the credibility of both Corsi and World Net Daily, if there was any left in the minds of serious minded, normal people!

 

More importantly here’s Dennis giving Sinclair another Teachable Moment:

Maddow is a hoot. Of course Fat Boy will soon be all over himself. First he will be yelling that the mainstream media has discovered him (more like a few members of the press have just stepped on his dog do). Then he will be tearing into Maddow for making fun of him (once he figures out that she is being sarcastic – that may take a few days). Finally, he will be going after Corsi for \”stealing\” his story. Have to invoke St. Breitbart and go after the heathens and crap like that.

Few quick notes for Fats:
1. I know you will be claiming (once again) that you won the Parisi suit and that this means the court found that you were telling the truth. Bullshit, you idiot. The case didn\’t even go to court (this was simply the first step to determine if the plaintiff\’s case had legal merit in terms of their claim of financial loss – you know, like were they making a supportable case). It had nothing to do with either you or your stupid story. It had to do with a poor legal presentation by Parisi\’s lawyer. Period. The judge was not paying any attention to you, your stupid dirty pictures on your laptop or anything else that was drooling out of your mouth. This is good, because the judge had also repeatedly warned you that you had to get legal council for the case. You repeatedly ignored this order. If the case had continued, you stood a strong chance of being slapped with contempt by the judge.

2. You will once again carry on with your story about your wild night of passion in Chicago. There are some problems with this story – like every critical comment ever made by Kstreet and many other sane intelligent people. But may I also just remind you of a minor little problem with the tale – you have never even proven that you were in Chicago at the time you claimed.   Let\’s face it, all proven movements involving your sorry butt places you just before and immediately afterwards in Colorado. But no evidence of any kind (except for that bogus hotel member point thing – you know, the one you quit presenting when some folks successfully demonstrated that you had doctored it). Until you produce actual evidence otherwise, I have to conclude that you were not even in Chicago on those dates. The fact that you tried to cover this issue with a forged document strongly suggests that you are full of you know what on this point.

3. No one can take your \”word\” for this tale. You are not credible. You are a life long, multi-convicted felon for crimes of fraud and deception. So your word ain\’t worth crap. You need “evidence.” Solid evidence. In your last booklet, you actually admitted that you didn’t have any. Instead, you just whined that you were there and we weren’t. Good grief, no wonder you got arrested so often. You’re a moron.

4. Same goes for your Donald Young story. No evidence, no deal. Oh yeah, you got those phone calls from him…sure. But that mean old phone company won\’t give you your bills. Yeah, that makes sense. So everybody else has to find the evidence for you…that\’s the ticket.

ir·rel·e·vant/iˈreləvənt/: not connected with or relevant to something; insignificant – unimportant – immaterial

In my opinion, the above definition describes Larry Sinclair to a tee.

Four years ago he appeared on the internet to make a startling yet, to this day, unsubstantiated claim that he had met Barack Obama in Chicago during a graduation ceremony for his nephew.  Sinclair claimed the year was 1999 when Barack H. Obama was a State Senator.  He also claimed that they were sexually involved twice over one week-end period.

Most people who followed the story at the time knew about the sordid details through his video which he released in January 2008.  Obama had just won the Iowa Caucus and polls showed him taking the lead over other candidates including then Senator Hillary Clinton.

The point is, Sinclair never produced a corroborating witness nor proof of such an encounter.  Many people took Sinclair at his word because they didn’t want to see Barack Obama win the presidency.

Sinclair made a lot of money off of his accusation because there were a lot of people who hated Obama and his wife for various reasons, none of which were true, in most instances and it seems their hatred was based solely on the color of Obama’s skin.  Sinclair was riding high on donations which through some rough estimates, may have been in the mid six figures.

However, today is another story.  After publishing one failed book about “the encounter” with a dose of “murder” in the title to entice the reader, Sinclair has decided to write another one, perhaps to try and recapture the focus on him and his “story”.

So, while watching the news and sipping on some coffee this morning it dawned on me that Sinclair’s quest to stop Obama from getting the nomination in 2008 through his massive lies and schemes have been an epic failure.

Today, although many oppo-research folks have tried to come up with something from Sinclair to at least air his story and let “the people” decide if it’s true or not, their research showed not one iota of “proof”, the one element that every network lawyer and even the campaign lawyers HAD to approve…to move forward.

This makes Sinclair irrelevant.  He has tried to re-invent himself to start all over again several times, his latest incarnation,  as a “journalist”, but if the truth be told, Larry Sinclair has used his “fifteen minutes” of fame a long time ago.  All attempts to continue on with his fiasco is irrelevant.

Back-story:

On June 18, 2008 Larry Sinclair decided to conduct a Press Conference to tell his story to a wider audience.  Many articles were written  about the “stupifying” Press Conference but this comment stands out.  Meesh decided to repost Tim Shipman’s article about the press conference.

By the way, what I find positively appalling is the use of Donald Young‘s image for his own personal gain without permission and the picture he includes of himself was about twenty-five years ago at the time of the conference.

Larry Sinclair makes some lurid claims about Barack Obama

As I write this, I am wearing around my neck a press credential that I will treasure for years. It was my entry ticket to perhaps the most bizarre act of political theatre in what is already the most remarkable presidential election in decades.

At the National Press Club in Washington, a man called Larry Sinclair held a press conference that defied belief, making claims about Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama that stretch the limits of the word lurid.

Those with an iron constitution will be quickly able to find them on the internet, since Mr Sinclair has detailed them in a video on YouTube.

Suffice it to say that he touches on all the most explosive areas of the 15 minute fame seeker: sex, drugs and even murder, all of which remain totally without credulity or corroboration.

This was a shame because Mr Sinclair had called his press conference to provide what he promised was factual evidence of the unlikely events he says occurred in November of 1999 when he supposedly met Mr Obama, then an Illinois state senator.

He was completely unable to say why a state senator with aspirations of running for president and a young family would associate with a self-confessed drug dealer.

But then Mr Sinclair is not exactly what you would term a model witness. He took the stage looking both a little nervous and a little like Martin McGuinness. That, of course, is not a crime.

What is a crime, as Mr Sinclair was only too happy to relate, are the acts of deception, cheque and credit card fraud to which he has confessed and for which, in at least one instance, he has served jail time. He is still a wanted man in the state of Arizona.

Mr Sinclair had in tow a lawyer called Montgomery Blair Sibley. The grandeur of Mr Sibley’s name was matched only by the grandeur of his attire. He was resplendent in a kilt, not exactly a common get-up in these parts.

The clothes were rather more impressive than Mr Sibley’s legal credentials. His license to practice has been suspended in both Florida and the District of Colombia.

Monty Python could not have done justice to the moment when Mr Sibley, a man hired presumably to lend credibility to the occasion, chose to explain the presence of his kilt with reference to the size of his manhood, which we were given to understand is too substantial to be shackled by the cloth of conventional underwear and trousers.

“I don’t know why men wear pants,” he said. “It’s a function of male genitalia. If you’re size normal or smaller, you’re probably comfortable. Those at the other end of the spectrum find them quite confining.”

At this point the pent up tension dissolved into open laughter among reporters who believed not a word of what Mr Sinclair was saying but felt compelled to listen not only out of politeness but the memory that most were wrong to dismiss the women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual shenanigans 15 years ago.

On the details that mattered, Mr Sinclair was vague. He claims to have spent the evening with Mr Obama in the back of a limousine, and then time in his hotel room the day afterwards. Yet there were none of those little details,the wallpaper, the drinks they drank, the things they saw,which are usually deployed by people trying to convince others of their veracity.

What did they talk about? “Pretty much nothing.” For an entire evening?

When one journalist asked at what time on each of the days he had met Mr Obama, answer came there none. “I know where you’re coming from with that,” he said. Yes, testing your claims, as you invited us to do. “I cannot provide that to you,” he said.

There were moments of tension and comedy. When a German female reporter asked him whether he had fallen in love with Mr Obama, Mr Sinclair responded with a question of his own: “Madam, in your entire lifetime have you never had a one night stand?”

Between coughing fits, Mr Sinclair claimed that he has given details of phone calls between him, the limousine driver and Mr Obama to the Chicago police. He was forced to correct one of the mobile numbers he read out, a typing error in the glossy printed statement we were each handed.

Mr Sinclair offered a hotel receipt that appears to show he was in the Chicago area at the time he claims his bizarre liaison occurred. But he was not able to provide any phone records from 1999.

He named the limousine driver as Paramjit Multani and said that the two had been in contact during the early part of the year but that now Mr Multani and his family have disappeared. This is convenient to say the least. The documents he supplied listed a limo driver as Rashpal Multani instead.

On the details that didn’t matter, Mr Sinclair was commendably detailed. He knew off the top of his head and without recourse to notes that the press club event had set him back $4,126.89. This shows a bizarre facility for recall not in evidence on the substance of his claims.

He admitted that he is unemployed and lives off disability benefits. There would seem to be a discrepancy between his personal poverty and the cost of the event, the dossiers and the glossy press passes. But no, Mr Sinclair assured us, all the money had come from small donations to his website.

There is a very serious point to all this. Mr Sinclair became visibly unsettled and irritable when questioned about the source of his funds.

He said he has had no contact with any Republican groups and that he would release his financial records. But this was one of many things he promised to make available in the future his medical records were another since he is suffering from a brain tumour,and you would have thought he would have presented them himself if he were genuinely expecting to make anyone believe him.

Would he release the details of his donors? Yes. But not their names. It is not clear how that constitutes releasing details of the donors.

There remains the lingering suspicion that attack groups will pay people like Mr Sinclair to keep their allegations in the public eye and Mr Obama out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

When I returned from the Alice in Wonderland press conference, a Republican friend who worked for Ronald Reagan happened to call. He was emphatic that the Republicans cannot get involved in smears on Obama. His argument was that they would be better off losing than end up tainted with the smear of racism for decades to come.

“This is one election we’re going to have to win on the issues,” he said. “It would be horrible for us if we won because of smears.”

The seriousness of the charges requires that they be properly investigated. But if Obama’s enemies want ammunition they would be well advised to look beyond Mr Sinclair.

At one point, urging the press only to probe his claims not swallow them wholesale, he said. “In fact, I’m not saying: ‘Believe me!’”

With that, at least, we were all happy to comply.

Sinclair hated the now defunct Regulator and has shown signs of his ardent dislike for the quite active The Regulator Too.  Too bad…because the work to expose his lying, grifting persona continues.

Actually, Sinclair probably forgot http://spinc1961.wordpress.com/ was still live on line until today when he deleted it.  Our friend Meesh had  grabbed a lot of quotes off the site to demonstrate Sinclair’s duplicity.

It’s my view that Sinclair wants to scrub everything he can that proves his detractors right about him.  For instance, what would an alleged “upstanding” citizen who once ran for Congress as an independent have to hide about his own Congressional site?  We’ll never know because he deleted it.

Why would Sinclair delete about six or seven websites and several videos and audio files that he once made public?  The only thing I can think of is that he didn’t want to leave evidence of some of his unbelievably warped mindset when it came to Obama and people like me who can see through the very thin facade of “legitimacy” like Sinclair News.

I will say that I have several captured copies of some of his crazier rants and will probably begin uploading them soon.

Once again, what does Larry Sinclair have to hide by scrubbing so many of his websites?  Will Sinclair News go the way of the others soon?

I was so pleased to hear from the young lady who inspired me to continue exposing Larry Sinclair and his lies:

Keep repeating his inconsistencies Sheila:

1/ When he says he became aware of the Young murder vs. when he was actually exposed to the story by Cao;

2/ One moment hoping someone out there might have a similar experience and come forward vs. the next suddenly recalling a conversation with a man from the campaign who said he and Obama were lovers (hardly someone Sinclair would have ‘forgotten’ eh?).

3/ Sinclair claiming in one interview that only the Obama campaign was aware of his allegations prior to January 2008 vs. claiming elsewhere that he had approached both the DNC and MSNBC in the fall of 2007.

I reckon he would hate having the above republished more than anything.

For months I had avoided going over to LS News‘ site for various reasons.   Those who did go over there gave us a daily rundown  of the  folie à trois  over at LS News Group.   However,  since his  insane rant about me and others from the old Regulator and Regulator Too, I’ve visited a few times, mostly to take screen captures.

Needless to say, I remembered why I rarely visited the site.  It’s a cluttered monstrosity of Paypal® ads for Sinclair, allegedly to “support the site and any offshoots.”

So…The Regulator Too participants did what we usually do…check the facts on any outrageous Sinclair claims…hey, it’s what we do:

Sinclair claims this:

“Bryant is completely nuts over the fact that Sinclair has by dedication and tenacity become one of the most read self made journalist in the US.”

And this  one too!

“We further feel that what makes Bryant go off the rails is the fact that the self-made journalist, Sinclair has, by dedication and tenacity, become one of the most read journalists in the .” [I wonder what's the missing word at the end - universe, world or internet?]

HA! Rich! He’s referring to  the copy/paste “SNOOZE site” Sinclair News.Net | Uncensored & Unafraid ???? Larry always says it’s not about the money. Well when you go to the SNOOZE site it’s littered with various PAYPAL links!

Not only that, but his buddy Ilsa’s drivel has headlines that appear to be from the list of “1000 Worst Cliches in the English Language.”

And most read? Another great momenr in self-delusion.

So let me get this straight Gilligan, Ilsa, Sinclair and the TSA commotion kid are the only “journalists” over there? And all three seem batshit crazy so no wonder The “LS Snooze” site had a massive hemorrhagic hissy fit over “Bryant” et al.

No reputable “one of the most read self made journalist in the US.”  would post people’s home locations on his site with a Google map  locator link. He crossed the last 2 numbers out but if you click the hyperlink with my anyone from [The Regulator's] name, the entire address comes up.

Not professional of “Contributor” (aka Larry Sinclair) to say the least.

Larrd’s [Sinclair] not a reprorter or a journalist. He alternates between ripping off someone else’s work and slapping his name on it, stories All About Him and his insane rage-filled Enemies List.

Isla writes high school essays from an ultra right wing perspective and selects from her list of cliches for a title.

The TSA kid really wanted to be a public address announcer for the Chicago Cubs (his audition tape was, at best, pedestrian, more suited for a small high school basketball game), and when he couldn’t do that, he turned to some fringe of the fringe truther shit and decides to tape the TSA inside a train terminal. BFD. And like Larrd’s reprorter mode, once again, it’s all about him, trying and failing to be a combo of James O’Keefe and Breitbart. Yawn. Both he and Larrd are driven by their narcissism, short on talent and derivative.
Of course, Larrd posts the articles two or three times to pad out his wafer-thin content, then fills in the space with press releases from Gov. Rick Scott’s PR machine.

The only thing FatBoy has going for him is Boring.

Some how the “most read journalist” is running a tad short. His crap news site is currently ranking at Alexis at 34,889 (US); 127,481 (Global).

By comparison, the nutters over at WorldNetDaily ranks 355 (US); 1,841 (Global). Likewise, Breitbart’s site is 458 (US); 1,825 (Global). Heck. he’s even running way behind his pal Jeff Rense whose site garners: 2,713 (US); 8,199 (Global).

So Fat’s has some work to do in order to rig the count or something. In the battle of the right wing sites, he’s not even on the list. However, he is way ahead of Citizen Wells: 133,734 (US); 560,209 (Global). Compared to that nut job, Turb Brain is a major success.
